Thoroughly enjoyable event
Trail run in nice surroundings..
Course was short again, unless this can be addressed, i won't be running it again next year.Not sure how its classified as a 10k? would be better calling it the Rayleigh Trail 6.
I thought it was very well organised, the registration was well organised and very quick, there were plenty of Marshall’s and they were all great. The toilets were cleanest I have seen at a race so that was good. I will definitely do it again
My only suggestion would be perhaps they could have some music playing before the race to get everyone going and also it was a bit quiet for the supporters once the runners were on the course but apart from that it was all great, thank you
Good enough test for all standard of runners.
Spoke to many people and not one had 10k on their watch. Mine was just about the six mile mark and others varied. Can only assume the trees break up the coverage but I've never knoen so many say or wasn't 10k. Still enjoyed it though

The distance markers towards the end were a long way off. Your 7k was 6.3k on my Garmin and the 9k marker was at 8k on my watch. The distance from 9k to the finish was 1.62km on my watch. This made it very difficult to pace the final stages of the race which was disappointing. Total distance recorded at 9.62km on my gps watch.

Good scenery and some hills
Came up short in distance which is disappointing and the registration was a bit of a nightmare but marshals were very good and the race was fun.
Great route
However I was unable to run due to foot injury. Shame though you cannot get a refund for not being able to run race or defer until next year. Otherwise great 10k to run. Competed in it last year and enjoyed it. Tina Reeve
